Today, we come together for Carly Mailar, a dedicated ESL teacher who pours her heart into students across Carroll Senior High School, Carroll High School, Carroll Middle School, and Dawson Middle School.

Below is Carly’s message, shared in her own words:

"This week I was hospitalized due to a sudden and severe medical emergency and was transported by ambulance for immediate treatment. During the emergency, I developed air trapped behind my heart caused by a slight tear in my esophagus, which required close monitoring and medical care. It was unexpected and frightening, and I will need routine follow-up appointments to ensure it heals properly and does not cause further complications.
