Note from the President
We are thrilled to announce that Dragons Care can begin receiving grant requests from staff, teachers and SRO officers now that the school year has begun! We have been preparing for this for a full year now and our entire team is ready to support our staff in their time of need. If you are a staff member and you haven't watched our tutorial video or if you are interested in the process, please watch this video.
We wanted to make the process as easy as possible for staff to start receiving support, while also being good stewards of the funds we are raising from our incredibly generous donors. When we receive grant requests that we can share, they will be located on our website under current staff needs, our facebook page, instagram and/or twitteraccounts based on the staff members comfort level. So please make sure that you are following those social media pages so that you can click on individual needs because that is how we operate - we are a needs based non-profit. Following us on social media, our website and reading this newsletter are the best ways to see if someone from your campus needs assistance or if you feel called to help someone in particular. And if any needs aren't met, we will pull from our donations that we have been receiving from those of you that have chosen to give online to the Dragons Care Fund. I hope that this helps explain our process and if you ever have ANY questions, please reach out to us at info@dragons-care.org.
Lastly, we have a HUGE opportunity, thanks to the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, to show our love for our staff by showing up for them at the Dragons Care Ribbon Cutting. Please come, RSVP and personally invite your campus teachers and staff to this event so that we can show them how much we TRULY appreciate them. All of the details are below.

Join us at the Southlake Chamber of Commerce Ribbon-cutting Ceremony for Dragons Care, Tuesday, September 12th from 4-6 pm. The ribbon-cutting will take place around 4:45/5 pm.
We are bringing together the staff of Carroll ISD, families of Carroll ISD, and community members of Southlake to come together for this momentous occasion, where we will celebrate the formation of Dragons Care, a support system for our staff district-wide. You won't want to miss it!
We will have TWO Kona Ice trucks, Charlie the mascot, photo ops & our very own Emerald Belles to celebrate our amazing staff! This is truly a celebration to show our support for our staff and #GetLoudWithLove!
And we will also be providing activities for the kids! We can't wait to see you there!

The FIRST 100 PEOPLE TO ARRIVE AT THE RIBBON CUTTING GET A FREE #GetLoudWithLove DRAGONS CARE T-SHIRT provided by the Wynne Moore Group. You can wear this shirt to the Pink Out Dragons football game to show your support for breast cancer patients, survivors, and loved ones we've lost.
