WOW! What an exciting month it has been at Dragons Care! We are constantly amazed by your support, dedication and commitment not only to this organization, but most importantly to our staff.
Winning Non-Profit of the Year, with an overwhelming 75,000 votes cast by our community, serves as powerful validation of the impact we're making. It's a humbling experience, especially considering the remarkable work of finalists like Grace and Metroport Meals on Wheels, who have dedicated decades to serving not only Southlake but the entire surrounding community. Being in their esteemed company is truly an honor.However, what we hope most is that this award symbolizes our communities profound support for the staff, teachers, and SROs at Carroll ISD. We want them to feel the community's backing, recognizing and appreciating their tireless dedication to our children every day.
In this monthly newsletter, you will also read about our most current needs of staff members, our free raffle to expand our reach and our fundraiser starting at the end of this month. We hope that you will take the time to really dive in and participate in as many opportunities as we have going on right now to #SupportTheStaff and continue to #GetLoudWithLove.

Dragons Care Wins Non-Profit of the Year!
Thank you for not only believing in Dragons Care, but also for showing our staff here at Carroll ISD how much you truly support them! Being that this is our first year, we were shocked, humbled, and immensely grateful to be voted as non-profit of the year by our community. Over 75,000 votes were submitted in this years readers choice awards and we feel such overwhelming love and community support! It takes a village of incredibly dedicated volunteers to run this non-profit and it takes a HUGE village of supporters to stand by our staff when they need us most. We cannot thank you enough for this honor.
To be in the same category with non-profits that we truly admire and respect was mind-blowing, so we want to extend our sincerest congratulations to them as well. And not just those in the category with us, but to all local non-profits that tirelessly work every day to make a difference in the lives of others. In this year alone, we have been able to collaborate with several local non-profits and we cherish the community that we are all building to support one another.
And this is just the beginning - we are going to continue to #GetLoudWithLove and #SupportTheStaff here at Carroll ISD and we are thrilled to have you advocating alongside us at Dragons Care!
