A Ribbon Cutting Celebration to Remember!

SOUTHLAKE, TX – September 2023 – Dragons Care, a dedicated community organization, marked the official launch of its mission with a vibrant ribbon cutting event held on September 12th, 2023, at the Rustin Park Pavilion in Southlake, Texas. The event was a resounding success and buzzed with energy as Southlake residents gathered to support Dragons Care's commitment to making a positive impact on the community. Dragons Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the teachers, staff, and School Resource Officers (SRO's) of Carroll ISD (CISD) as they walk through personal hardships brought on by illness, injury or family tragedy.

Highlights of the event included Kona Ice snow cones, special gifts distributed to the dedicated staff of Carroll Independent School District (ISD), #GetLoudWithLove pink-out shirts, a lively DJ, and an abundance of bubbles to add to the festive atmosphere. A significant highlight of the afternoon was Dragons Care receiving a prestigious Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the Office of Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne. This recognition underscores the organization's commitment to making a meaningful difference in the Carroll ISD school community and beyond.

The organization looks forward to continuing to engage with the community, build connections, and create positive change in the lives of those it serves.
